It will be a great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 6th European Conference on Chemistry in Life Sciences (6th ECCLS), which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in June 10-12, 2015.
Lisbon meeting will be sixth in a series – after Rimini (2005), Wroclaw (2007), Frankfurt (2009), Budapest (2011) and Barcelona (2013) – and will put together scientists from different backgrounds in order to facilitate translation of knowledge between chemistry and biology.
This conference is an activity of the EuCheMS (European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences) Division of Chemistry in Life Sciences.
We would also like to invite you to enjoy Lisbon, during the celebration of Lisbon Patron Sto Antonio's day. Lisbon is multicultural city, spread across seven hillsides that overlook the river Tagus and the Atlantic sea. The city has several Gothic cathedrals, majestic monasteries and several museums, composing a colourful cityscape, but a visit is not complete without wandering the narrow lanes of Lisbon’s lovely backstreets.
We are looking forward to meeting you at 6th ECCLS and hope this will be a fruitful and pleasant scientific event.

The Protein School will cover topics under the scope of "Identification of Novel Target in Medicine and Biology - Applied Techniques".
The attendance of the Protein School is free with full registration, but limited to 50 participants (PhD students and early career post-doctoral fellows), that should apply by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Protein School will take place on June 9, in the Campus of Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, at Caparica, in the Library Seminar Room.

Lisbon Airport is very close to the centre of the city, so you can be at your hotel within minutes of arriving in Lisbon.
Taxis in Lisbon are relatively cheap and convenient. You can catch a taxi from outside the terminal.
It will cost between €10 and €15 to reach the city centre; with an extra cost if you travel late at night and with luggage. Make sure you ask for a receipt.
The 6th European Conference EuChem for Life Sciences with be held at Reitoria of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in Campolide (centre of Lisbon).
All conference rooms will be equipped with a computer, a projector with screen for powerpoint presentations.
Wireless internet will be available during the conference to participants free of charge.
